We planned to strengthen the research collaboration of postgraduates and academics from both institutions through a sustained program of knowledge exchange, regular seminars, and in-depth research discussions focused on several ongoing PhD projects. Our aim was not only to share findings but also to cultivate an environment where early-career researchers and senior scholars could freely exchange methodologies, refine experimental designs, and identify complementary areas of expertise. During the visit, we had the valuable opportunity to present and critically evaluate recent research results, while also brainstorming and following up on a range of promising new ideas. These conversations naturally led to the integration of additional lines of inquiry and the identification of potential joint projects, thereby laying the groundwork for a much larger and more dynamic collaboration group in the future. The research carried out through this partnership is highly relevant to the needs and priorities of both societies, addressing pressing scientific and social questions that have implications at regional and global levels. The knowledge generated and the technological advances anticipated will directly benefit both regions.
