The overall objectives of this KA171 project involving mobility with universities from Armenia and Syria was to acquire knowledge or specific know-how from experiences and good practices at the Partner Country (PC) universities involved. The project focused particularly on libraries, information literacy and possibilities for future EU project collaboration in ERASMUS +. The project aimed to achieve good exchange of experience between TUS and the universities from Armenia and Syria in the area of Library and Information Science (LIS) and EU project collaboration generally. We aimed to enrich intercultural learning by creating a joint module with St. Lawrence College, fostering global citizenship, reducing barriers to study abroad, and providing students with shared, credit-bearing experiences that build entrepreneurial and intercultural competence. By exchanging staff between both universities, we believed this would result in future collaboration and student exchanges. Between SAIT and TUS Traditionally students from Early years education programmes have not had the opportunity to engage in mobilities. The plan was for TUS and SAIT academics to design a COIL project to first introduce students to practices in Canada and Ireland
