The main goal for this project was to achieve increased mobility of our staff and students. This leads to stronger connections with the receiving institutions and create opportunities for future collaboration. We are seeing an increase in interest and participation this reported year and the upcoming year. Hólar University is a small but growing rural university that offers graduate and undergraduate education, including vocational diplomas. As the design of the undergraduate programs at our university are mostly for distance learners (with on-site visits during the year), most students have opted to not apply for exchange studies. However, there has been an increase in interest for the 2025 - 2026 academic year, particularly for those students in the undergraduate programs.
