The objectives of the project were: 1) improving technical/professional skills of learners by facilitating their entry into the labour market 2) improving the transversal skills of learners by facilitating their entry into the labour market through learning mobility with curricular internship training 3) Improving learners' sectoral language skills 4) Increasing the involvement of learners with fewer opportunities (with disabilities, learning disabilities and special educational needs etc.) 5) Experimenting with the development of blended mobility. The pursuit and achievement of these goals enable FLC to increase the quality and attractiveness of its services. At the same time, learners receive an improved education and training, both at professional and personal level; moreover, as a result, the learners' added value in the labour market increases.
FLC is an organisation that, through its various branches, offers a wide range of services, including: vocational and educational training, upper secondary education, continuing training, lifelong learning and employment services. As for this project, the participants involved were learners from the VET sector. Here, most of the learners live in economically and culturally disadvantaged conditions and are often at risk of school drop out. That said, both the drafting and implementation of the project took into account the goals that are FLC’s current needs, namely: Employability of learners in the labour market; tackling school dropout; improving learners’ technical/professional, transversal and language skills; improving learners' digital skills.
