Objectives

The main objective of the GREENER project was to enrich the preparation of the participants to adequately respond to the requests of the local GREEN production sector and to acquire independence and maturity in their personal choices. In summary, through the implementation of the project, the participants were able to: improve own technical-professional skills in the GREEN field; improve own linguistic and communication skills; improve own socio-relational, civic and intercultural skills; become more competitive and prepared to quickly enter the job market. Thanks to the project, the Institute of Larino has also achieved the following objectives: has improved its training offering; has strengthened the staff's skills in terms of management, tutoring and monitoring of mobility and training courses; has improved collaboration with the world of work on a local and international scale; has improved the use of the ECVET, EQAVET, EQARF and Europass frameworks.

Background

The environmental sector connected to the protection and recovery of the territory is today at the center of the international (UN Agenda 2030) and European (European Green Deal) scene, in consideration of the radical changes in terms of transformation of the territory and related ecosystems that are taking place at global and local levels. To respond effectively to these important challenges it is necessary to implement effective policies for the protection and sustainable use of the territory, as well as training new specialized professional figures, capable of responding to the need for innovation and technological development of companies in the sector. From this perspective, the GREENER project, promoted by Istituto Omnicomprensivo "Magliano" of Larino (Campobasso, Italy), aimed to encourage the personal, civic, cultural and professional growth of 37 fourth-grade students of the Agricultural Technical and CAT courses, offering them EU work-based pathways aimed at acquiring useful skills in the GREEN field.
