Through the implementation of "C.H.A.N.G.E.S.!", the IIS "E. Medi" achieved the specific objectives set, namely: the 26 students of classes III and IV from the classical and scientific courses, through transnational on-the-job training in companies operating in the tourism and ITC sectors in Ireland and Malta, had the opportunity to develop technical and digital, as well as linguistic (especially with regard to technical English), green and transversal skills. Moreover, through "C.H.A.N.G.E.S!", the School was able to consolidate its relations with the European partners that collaborated with it, as well as, to intercept new partners with whom to start solid partnerships for the realization of new activities and projects with a European scope. This, therefore, made it possible to achieve the further objective pursued by the Institute, i.e. to strengthen its European dimension and to continue the internationalization process initiated by nurturing a professional network of foreign partners with whom to establish a channel of cooperation and exchange.
"C.H.A.N.G.E.S.! Creating international patHs Allowing learNers to Gain profEssional Skills!" is a transnational mobility project realised, within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, by the Higher Education Institute "E. Medi". The project, with a total duration of 18 months, started on 15.11.2022 and ended on 14.05.2024. The IIS "E. Medi" is in Val Fortore (BN) a marginal territory, whose socio-cultural context is medium-low and not always equipped to provide the right stimuli to young people. This also has repercussions on the school, which, due to the absence of suitable companies to host the learners' activities, encounters difficulties in realising quality PCTOs, especially for high school courses. "C.H.A.N.G.E.S!", therefore, was born out of the Institute's felt need to strengthen the link with the world of work by creating a stable channel of cooperation with Europe to enable students and new graduates of the Liceo Classico and Liceo Scientifico to gain experience in the field, acquire professional, green, linguistic, transversal and above all digital skills, suitable for tackling the current and future world of work with preparation and awareness in an international dimension.
