The objectives we wanted to achieve with the implementation of the project were 3: - guarantee a high quality training offer, capable of orienting and supporting its students towards a future job placement that takes into account new market trends (including the digitalisation of the construction market and the demand for green construction); - expand the level of internationalization of the proposing Institute, increasing contacts with cutting-edge European companies in the construction sector. It was about establishing relationships to discuss the training needs of future new workers; - promote internship experiences capable of allowing participants to acquire knowledge and skills to operate in an evolving construction market that is increasingly attentive to eco-sustainability.
F.Re.E. To. Act was created to respond to the challenges that the construction sector and those who work in it have had to face in the short future to fully grasp the advantages of digitalisation and propose more eco-sustainable constructions. In fact, for some time the construction world has been wondering about various issues such as the Green Economy, green architecture, the renovation of buildings, the protection of the territory, new construction materials, safety on construction sites, CAD design and the use of drones. However, Covid has accelerated this process to the point that the European Commission, with the September 2021 Communication entitled "The new European Bauhaus", has foreseen a series of political actions and financing opportunities to accelerate the transformation of various economic sectors between mainly related to construction. From here was born the desire to engage with European companies to understand their needs and remodulate their training offer.
