Background

The “Pertini – Anelli - Pinto” Higher Secondary Education Institute in Turi (BA) is moving towards a vision aimed at understanding the dimension of “glocalization”, to guarantee students involved in I-VET an education with an international and intercultural scope. The Institute aims to train highly specialized personnel in the tourism, commercial and construction sectors, who can also operate successfully in international contexts. The IISS Pertini-Anelli-Pinto thus responded with the “ENH.A.NCE. - ENHance the professionAl competeNCEs” to the needs of the territory, intervening on the employment of learners to encourage new job opportunities. Therefore, the institute will exploit Erasmus opportunities to organize on-the-job training activities at companies in Spain, Ireland and Germany in the reference sectors, intended for the Institute's VET learners, continuing along the internationalization path started.
