We want to strengthen transversal skills (knowledge, Interpersonal skills, knowing how to deal) and strengthen some key competences (digital and technology-based competences, multilingualism, entrepreneurial, communication) in relation to tourism, sustainability and entrepreneurship sectors. The organisation's objective is to increase the services, increase design capacity and expand tools and technologies for a better services provision. The project strengthens both the individual skills and the public administration, to continuously improve the quality of services offered to citizens and businesses, including the VET training offer This is possible thanks to a EU training that allows the staff to enhance the trainings offered to companies and the public service.
Umbria Chamber of Commerce is a Public Entity created in 2021 replacing Terni and Perugia Chambers. It became a regional body, strengthening its role and action in the enhancement of local economy, supporting businesses and creating favorable conditions for their development. It has 80 people staff in two locations (Perugia, Terni, 85 km away from each other) moreover we should add the employees of the in-house company, Intercam scarl and Promocamera srl becoming consequently a 110 people staff. The Chamber runs sectorial training activities for businesses on entrepreneurship, digitalisation, sustainability, internationalisation, tourism basing on the national guidelines, approved by the Chamber Councils in line with the needs of Umbria businesses. The project was born from the need to become more competitive in supporting the evolving needs of mSMEs since it is the only public body that represents the interests of the entire Umbrian business system. Umbria Chamber needs to empower the personnell to boost its services to the businesses and improve the European dimension of Umbria Chamber.
