Our Institute has five active specializations: Chemistry, Materials and Biotechnology, Mechanics, Mechatronics and Energy, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Telecommunications, Transport and Logistics. The main activity of the school consists of daily teaching, aimed at conveying skills and knowledge to pupils and is divided into a more theoretical consisting of lectures, flipped classrooms, debates, and a more practical part delivered through exercises and laboratory experiences (learning by doing). To further integrate the curricular activities, Simulated Business and PCTO courses that allow students to develop soft skills and transversal skills in the course of the second two years and the fifth year. Finally, access to NOP and ERDF design allows for the expansion of further the educational offer and to enrich the personal and professional growth of students with experiences in Italy and abroad. The pupils, aged between 14 and 18, come mostly from schools located in the territorial area 15 which goes from Barcelona to Villafranca. The social and territorial homogeneity in the courses facilitates educational planning.
