Objectives

The project aimed to create, promote, and test a new standard for the "Pride Network Lead" role, supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and fostering Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in organizations. It developed a professional profile defining competencies, tasks, and performance evaluation, alongside a selection process for the role. The project provided guidelines for implementing this role, a comprehensive training program with a trainers' handbook, and a handbook and toolbox for the Pride Network Lead. Additionally, a microlearning film and an action plan guidebook were produced. Tangible outcomes included training at least 10 Pride Leaders, dissemination activities, and a media campaign to promote D&I. Intangible results involved increased competencies, involvement of social partners like NGOs, and promoting inclusiveness in participating companies. The project addressed universal issues, offering results that could be applied across Europe. It contributed to innovation in Vocational Education and Training (VET), filling a gap in current solutions and supporting the EU's D&I and labor market priorities.

Background

The consortium decided to participate in the Pride Network Lead project to address the urgent need for better preparation and development of Pride Network Leaders in SME’s and organizations, contributing to the promotion of inclusive and diverse workplaces. The project tackled key organizational and community challenges, such as supporting LGBTQ+ employees, developing innovative curricula for SMEs, and attracting talent through strong D&I programs. Our consortium brought expertise in training, business transformation, supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, and managing complex projects like Erasmus+. We aimed to bridge the knowledge gap on D&I solutions and the importance of Pride Networks, promoting inclusive practices in the workplace. The goal was also to support SMEs and organizations in creating more inclusive environments and responding to the needs of local LGBTQIA+ communities. Through our commitment, we generated lasting social change, improving workplace culture and fostering diversity and equality. In this way, we helped build workplaces where all employees could thrive and give their best.
