The project achieved the following objectives: - Increasing and improving participants' professional and soft skills: Participants learned about alternative and valid methodologies, strategies, and intervention tools, exchanged opinions and views on the difficulties they faced in their daily work with their European colleagues, and found new standard solutions that they could develop together in the future. At the same time, participants improved communication, creativity, sense of initiative and collaboration, personal motivation, and teamwork. - Developing and sharing innovative methodologies and intervention strategies under the banner of common values among EU countries. Participants were able to engage with European colleagues on the commonalities and differences in their work, the improvements the job-shadowing activity could have made in all the organizations involved, and develop actions that could be replicable in several European countries to give a unique response to global problems. The experience enabled the establishment of partnerships with five different European organizations under the banner of greater sharing and participation of beneficiaries in the values of the European Union.
The "Let's Improve Together!" project enabled participants to improve their skills and competencies, reflect on and develop new methodologies and intervention strategies through exchanges of best practices with other European realities to respond in a more timely and current way to the needs of the beneficiaries of the Comunità Progetto Sud (CPS) association, at a time of significant changes and contradictions. The services and projects carried out for over 46 years by CPS aim to foster the empowerment and inclusion of people living in disadvantaged conditions, such as people with physical or mental disabilities, migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, victims of trafficking, drug addicts, ethnic minorities, and families in poverty. The highly qualified and competent staff ensure this approach, reaching excellent results. Therefore, the association decided to take advantage of the Erasmus+ experience to allow its staff to deepen and address specific notions and issues concerning their professional activities in a peer learning process with colleagues from other European countries, complementing the ongoing staff training with job-shadowing experiences abroad.
