Digital skills and competencesPreventing racism and discriminationTeaching and learning of foreign languages

Objectives

Acquire IT skills to make staff more competent and updated and help adults in need. Acquiring digital skills is essential given the pandemic, the DAD, administrative services related to SPID, internet banking etc. Low-skilled users need to be supported in small administrative matters. The members of our association need to learn new tools and to use learning platforms to speed up time and organize a basic course to train users in simple tasks Create an inclusive environment with the prevention of discrimination, racism and equal opportunities. A more empathic attitude and conflict management makes the difference with difficult users. A course on how to help eradicate prejudice and have an inclusive attitude would help social users. Members will have to learn to write and speak English to manage international projects and help migrants who ask us for help.

Background

The members don't all know how to use PCs and platforms well it involves slowdowns, work overload, user disappointment. High ICT skills are essential for the team and to support users: parents in DAD, elderly people and people unfamiliar with SPID, internet banking services. Low-skilled users ask for help with online practices. Members need to learn tools to reduce time, but most use basic functions. Ours is an audience without key / social skills intolerant of diversity. Some members do not know how to manage somewhat provocative people, it is important to train them to adopt empathic, inclusive attitudes, to mediate between conflicts, also directing users towards an active citizenship for the environment and heritage. Among the members only 1 speaks English to participate in international projects and expand participation in Erasmus +, seize job and growth opportunities and provide support to users, it is essential to bridge this gap.
