PROJECT OBJECTIVES: 1) To promote the participation of young people in society and to the construction of a European dimension in order to contribute to the understanding, by pupils, of the history of the European Union and the cultural diversity that characterizes it; In addition, to promote European citizenship among learners and to improve the conditions for democratic civic participation at EU level of the European Union. 2) Improve learners' competences, including L2 skills, through real-world learning experiences in other countries. Through mobility we have fostered: -lifelong learning, educational, professional and personal development of pupils, -sustainable growth in learners, -social cohesion, - innovation and professionalism, - Cultural competencies and language skills. 3)Orient learners through training and/or work experience in another country. Some students of the Computer Science and Electronics Sectors have experienced Many students (more than expected) of the ICT and Electronics Sectors have lived, thanks to the Erasmus mobility, a rich experience of study and practice at our three Partner schools in Spain. A group of students from the Fashion industry went to Austria for a period of study and practice.
IIS Marconi Mangano was founded in Catania, in 2014, from the union of the State Industrial Technical Institute "G. Marconi and of the State Professional Institute "L.Mangano.", offers students a rich choice of school paths. Training offered by the Marconi school is divided into three macro areas: Computer Science and Telecommunications; Electronics & Engineering Electric; Construction, Environment and Territory. The Mangano Institute prepares students for the social and health sector; in the Fashion and in the Chemical sector . It also offers three-year professional training courses for hairdressers and beauticians. The two schools are equipped with technical and scientific equipment, organized in equipped laboratory environments. , computer and scientific laboratories, and specialization laboratories (design, technology, construction, operating methodologies and fashion). Activities of the Organization in the field of this application are related to the Computer Science and Telecommunications Address and to the FASHION.
