The main objectives were: - Improving intercultural and communication skills of teachers and pupils to improve their participation in training activities and international relations; - Improving the active involvement of students in school life, and enhancing students' citizenship skills, with particular reference to environmental sustainability; - Strengthening the skills of teachers in relation to sustainability issues and the creation of teaching plans to be used for the Civic Education curriculum.
Fermi is an upper secondary school which includes different sections, such as Tourism, Marketing, Farming, Construction, Business Administration. This project was intended for pupils attending any of these sections, with a particular focus on those who had never taken part in an international mobility and on pupils with fewer opportunities (disadvantages socio economical or cultural background, pupils with SEN). ITCG Fermi has identified the following priority objectives: the development of skills in the field of active and democratic citizenship through the enhancement of intercultural education and peace, respect for differences and dialogue between cultures, support for the assumption of responsibility. as well as solidarity and care for common goods and awareness of rights and duties, the development of responsible behaviour inspired by knowledge and respect for legality and environmental sustainability. We believe that the mobility of teachers and students has contributed significantly to the achievement of these objectives, allowing us to take a further step forward towards the results we want to achieve, as stated in the school's Improvement Plan.
