Increasing awareness about the sustainability of water, conscious use of available resources, water saving, prevention of water pollution and the importance of water for living things. Students will be able to combine critical thinking skills with technological knowledge and skills to produce innovative solutions to current problems, to promote water literacy, to uncover their creativity potential, to improve teachers’ capacity through exchange of good practices and exchange of knowledge. In addition we aim to make students more interested in STEM. Water pollution is a global problem and will have more serious consequences in the future if no action is taken now. Crossborder cooperation and partnership will increase the number of water literacy against global challenges at the European level, raise awareness on the wider environment of water literacy, enable us to enrich in numerous materials and innovative methods, it will provide students and teachers with opportunities to learn, teach and practice in European schools, increase the capacity of partner schools, enable us to take action against global challenges on an international scale.
The Istituto Comprensivo "San Giovanni Bosco" has always given importance to the learning of foreign languages and the development of a European dimension both for the pupils and their families, has consistently embraced diversity in the school and community.The I.C."San Giovanni Bosco" is made up of Nursery, Primary and Secondary school. It operates in a low social-cultural context and in some classes students are particularly disadvantaged. Great importance has always been given to the integration of pupils with special needs education. In our school there are also groups of students with a dangerous risk of social exclusion, due to their family background: parents with low incomes, low cultural and educational level who often have not the opportunity to find a good job.The main teaching aim is to give intellectual and social care to young people from any learning level and try to give them a world without borders.
