Background

The I.T.T.- L.S.S.A. “Copernico” is both a Technological Technical Institute and a Scientific High School in Applied Sciences. The study areas are: 1) IT and Telecommunications 2) Electrical engineering 3) Mechanics and Mechatronics 4) FIVE-YEAR LSSA (ordinational), 5) FOUR-YEAR LSSA. The educational offer is that of an innovative, current and dynamic school, capable of interpreting the changes in the society in which it is inserted. The project involved first and second year students of all specializations of the Institute, as well as teachers of the various courses. The "Being Able to Become Sustainable" project was born within a varied framework of needs. The actants and at the same time the users of this project were students, teachers and the school principal. The forced period of distance learning had resulted for the students in an enormous expenditure of physical and intellectual energy and had meant an almost total elimination of the social aspect of school life. Added to this were the critical issues revealed by the INVALSI results in mathematics, mother tongue and English. This project aimed to provide new stimuli to promote an educational action that was inclusive and valorising.
