Promote in our student the sense of belonging to the European community, through significant cultural events. Encourage attitudes of respect and equality, fundamental pillars of European values, accepting the multiculturalism of our society and that of our partner country. Promote a responsible and aware use of technologies as means of learning and disseminating content within the European framework. Improve language competences in real situations: pupils understand that a foreign language is not simply a school subject, but studying English and Spanish is important to communicate in daily life situations.
The project involved pupils from all over the school. In particular, the collaboration activities with the partner and the mobility were developed with pupils of the fifth classes of primary school and first classes of secondary school. The district where the schools of the Institute are located is the Scalo, with a high population density. The users come from the neighborhood, from other areas of the city and from neighboring municipalities. The users are very heterogeneous: part of it belongs to the upper-middle class, while another part suffers from socio-cultural disadvantages and experiences social problems, such as pupils from families at risk of crime. Finally, some of the pupils are foreigners or have special needs. The Erasmus Project has helped the organization to promote the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities from an economic and cultural point of view, to enhance the most deserving pupils and to create a communication bridge between primary and secondary school, creating opportunities for sharing and collaboration both in the preparatory work phase and in mobility abroad.
