Objectives

By implementing the project we wanted to ensure security in the internet environment to agree on the specific training needs of our staff in the field of digital skills, which was the area of organizational development we wanted to prioritize. Infact the development of educational technologies, the use of the Internet and mobile devices to become a part of school life, has led to an increase in cyberbullying cases. As a consequence the Internet and other communication technologies can put children and young people at risk of being bullied online. Moreover innovative approaches and applications in education, especially the use of web 2.0 tools, professional development programs for teachers and technology integration are in change and transformation depending on the use of today's technological tools by new generations. That’s why we wanted: To create awareness of web2.0 tools, which is an innovative approach, To enable teachers to use the internet and web 2.0 tools, To be able to see the obstacles related to the use of web 2.0 tools in learning environments, To know which web 2.0 tools can be preferred by the teachers on the basis of branches in order to prepare and develop the course materials.

Our school represents a local cultural landmark in the field of technology and Science, with its branches: Mechanics, Mechatronics and Energy, Electronics and Electric Engineering, I.C.T. and Telecommunication, Transports and Logistics, Lyceum of Applied Sciences. Our school also includes an experimental course for the Digital Ecological Transition that focuses both on the study of humanities and STEM subjects using an innovative and laboratory teaching method and a digital interconnection between schools belonging to a network which also includes companies and universities. Our school pays great attention to motivate all the students in order to give them equal opportunities and to encourage their human and cultural growth. For this reason it widens the educational offer by teaming up with companies and institutions, by offering an active learning and by connecting the learning process with strategies and activities. In our center, there is involved a team of 150 teachers from different specialties and belonging to different teaching departments. This favors enrichment and the proposal of interdisciplinary activities. We count about 950 students.
