The aim of this project is to bring methodological innovation in STEAM and support some of our students in long-term international mobility. We want to help our school community not involved in previous Erasmus activities to broaden their perspectives and be open to new ways of teaching, collaborating, and planning. Moreover, we would like to increase students' interest and results in STEAM.
During last years it was very difficult to have effective STEAM activities in our Lyceum (Human Sciences and Linguistics curricula). One reason is the impossibility of carrying out laboratory activities due to COVID emergencies. In addition, these two curricula were characterized by the prevalence of traditional teaching and the lack of participation in national and European teacher support networks. In the past, our high school participated in an Erasmus project that allowed the flourish of CLIL and debate activities, which at the end of the project have been institutionalized in our school. With this project, we want to give the possibility of methodological innovations to school curricula that have not been involved in previous Erasmus activities. We would love to help teachers and students to open their minds and broaden their horizons.
