The project aimed to achieve objectives in four areas: Develop Digital Skills and Media Literacy of Students: Foster critical use of ICT to prepare students for an increasingly digital society and job market. Develop Key Skills, Particularly Second Language Proficiency: Provide cultural experiences for personal and professional growth to students who have faced relative isolation during previous academic years due to the pandemic. Emphasis is placed on developing key skills, including proficiency in a second language. Increase Internationalisation of Educational Offers: Enhance the international dimension of the educational curriculum, promoting experiential learning paths and re-establishing the connections with other European realities that were disrupted by the pandemic. The goal is to reintroduce students to interactions with peers, fostering a greater sense of European belonging. Improve Students' Knowledge and Skills in Environmental Sustainability: Enhance students' understanding and skills of environmental sustainability within the broader context of civic education. This aims to promote active citizenship in alignment with the goals outlined in the 2030 Agenda, particularly in addressing climate change.
IIS G.Bruno combines a rich teaching offer with awards and recognitions that make it one of the most accredited and innovative schools in the Region. The courses offered are: Liceo of Languages (ESABAC); Applied Sciences Technical Diploma; Technological and Chemistry Technical Diploma, Diploma in Materials and Biotechnology; Fashion System and TextilesTechnical Diploma. The number of students is around 1200, aged 14 to 19, distributed in approximately 12 classes for each cohort. The students, coming from all over the Perugia area, bring varied economic, social and educational backgrounds to the school. About 11% of the student population comes from foreign families, and the number of students with disabilities, BES or DSA, is non negligible. In our institute, the cultural tools for the in-depth understanding of reality typical of Licei are integrated with the laboratory-learning activity methods of Technical Schools, to be fully in step with contemporary needs. For years, the institute has been careful to internationalise its educational offer, by joining local and international partnerships, and in particular through participation in Erasmus+ projects both as a hosting school and as a sending school.
