The DD 2 of Spoleto is committed to complete innovation, involving both kindergarten and primary school. The active projects include: "Library," "Coding Hour," "Kangaroo," "Chess," "Class Poets," "Music Therapy," "Body Percussion," and "English Language Enhancement" for primary school; and "Psychomotor Skills," "Music Therapy," and "Introduction to Coding" for kindergarten. The school promotes inclusivity with personalized plans for students with Special Educational Needs, Specific Learning Disabilities, foreigners, and disabled students. The age range of students varies from 3 to 10 years old, with 26 disabled students, 24 with DSA, 45 facing linguistic-cultural disadvantages, 10 experiencing behavioral/relational challenges, and 144 being foreign students. During the pandemic, the school adopted digital teaching, successfully developing existing projects in an online version. Our school provided an online chess course in English for students aged 6 to 10 to a school in Istanbul, reinforcing international collaboration. The project also included some mobility for the training of teachers and non-teaching staff, with a focus on STEM, European school systems, and outdoor activities, consequently enriching the educational offerings.
