Objectives

As school we needed to implement more creative methods because through the activities we wanted to increase the following benefits from non-formal learning: 1) Creating Inclusive Classroom We wanted more inclusive classes for young people with special educational needs. We wanted teachers able to create inclusive atmosphere and at the same time able to develop skills and competences valuable for the future of the students, not only for their future job, but also for their life after graduation 2)Increased mobility among the school staff Teachers need constant updating and establishing networks out of the school. It is valuable to share their experience with colleagues, reflect on their past, present and future work, and validate their work. For this reason, they will make the most of digital tools, online platforms and other opportunities offered by the Erasmus program. They will be able to become active members of the network by providing virtual cooperation

Background

The main activities in our technical upper secondary school consist in a wide theoretical education and a highly qualified technical specialization in specific fields of study. The curriculum provided in our schools extends beyond the academic, technical or vocational sections. We support our students to face different aspects of life. It is necessary to strengthen the central role of the student. The school has to develop for this reason, an integrated educational action, aimed at promoting and fostering the connections between learnings in formal, informal and non-formal context, enhancing the emotional and relational side as substantial part of the formation process, through which learning, participating, communicating, socializing, sharing, experiencing and discovering are fundamental elements of the educational process, providing the development of key competence for lifelong learning. Our school is facing emerging problems after taking into account our learners' needs. We need more creative and inclusive classes for the young people with fewer opportunities.
