The main objective is undoubtedly to develop an internationalization strategy, especially in view of the European dimension: the exchange of experiences and strategies, implemented with the mobility of students and teachers, the birth of new collaborations with foreign institutions, the comparison between our system education and that of other European realities, the concept of European citizenship. Another objective, closely connected to the previous one, is the improvement of language learning. In fact, we thought of the project as multilingual, through the strengthening not only of the English language, but also of Spanish, German and French. Particularly the latter is seen from the ESABAC perspective. The development of educational innovations through the use of new technologies is also a further objective, especially as regards contacts between educational institutions and between pupils and between pupils participating in mobility, especially in the long term, and the educational institution of membership.
The educational institution operates in a context strongly influenced by the social reality in which it finds itself, characterized by an environment poor in cultural and educational stimuli. The lack of relevant cultural initiatives means that the school performs, in addition to the function of place of cultural education, also that of social aggregation, trying to raise the motivation and initiative of young people. From an economic point of view, the context is based on agriculture and the tertiary sector, but there are many situations of economic hardship, also amplified by the covid19, also caused by the high unemployment rate which pushes young people to leave the area in search of both educational and employment opportunities.
