With the school partecipation in this project based on teachers' instruction we aimed to reach the following: - promoting the inclusion and integration of all the students; - ensuring effective orientation to be developed throughout the entire path of the students, especially at Scuola Media/Middle School; endowing the pupils with competences, particularly language and digital competences, so as to shape them as responsible and aware citizens; - giving the learners focus on environmental themes favouring sustainability through activities fostering the goals of Agenda 2030; - creating meaningful learning environments that link developed skills to reality and everyday life. Moreover it was advisable for the teachers to reach the following aims: - learn to cooperate and share good practice; - individuate and set conncetions to teachers of other European schoools; - motivate themselves to the European dimension both professinally and as citizens.
Our Institute is divided in more sites, with two kindegartens, four primary schools and one lower secondary school. Our school aims at granting inclusion and supporting each pupil's success in education. This is to be achieved by promoting the person, offering instruments and strategies for learning and realizing the full potential of one's own. Our opening to different ways of teaching and new learning enviroments (not only technological innovation, but also and foremost innovation in the approach to proposed activities) inables the school to offer various activities for the validation of singles and group. Other priorities of our school are the appreciation and strengthening of language teaching, as far as English and other languages of the European Community are concerned. The CLIL methodology is also applied. In the last years our institute has opened more to the European dimension by taking part in Erasmus + projects, so developing improved competence in the European citizenship; and this especially thanks to the partecipation of the teachers in the mobilities that have had an impact on the learnersl.
