The Project fully achieved the set objectives. Interactions with partners and experiencing daily life abroad made the students realize that differences exist, but so do similarities, and both represent an experiential and linguistic enrichment, allowing them to enter a broader, European-scale world. Through the Project, students enhanced their knowledge and skills both interpersonally and academically. The Project involved 15 students in the first mobility and 16 in the second, different from the first ones, thus reaching the involvement of 31 students in total. The involvement of many students in a single Project gave impetus to its implementation, which truly involved the entire Institute/territory in knowledge, activities and dissemination. Providing the opportunity for 7 out of 15 students with socio-economic difficulties to participate in the mobility programs was a success for our school, as it addressed those who would otherwise have missed out on this educational enrichment. Many final products, created for and during each mobility program, were multimedia. This contributed to the acquisition of broader and more beneficial digital skills.
The Institute includes various courses of study, among which is the Technical Economic Institute, involved in the Project where German is the second community language, serving as the project's vehicular language. The students generally come from middle and lower-middle-class backgrounds. Three third-year classes participated, with 15 students in the first group and 16 in the second group, allowing another student to have this experience. The specific objectives of the project were: • Creating motivating learning environments • Recognizing similarities and differences and perceiving them as enrichment • Creating an identification with Europe, recognizing its values and democratic structures, implemented in a Project • Inclusion of students from disadvantaged families • Improving digital communication as a quality In a small provincial town, this project represented an innovative educational experience, important also for the parents, directly involved in hosting, and for the local authorities, who contributed with resources and facilities to the successful realization of the incoming mobilities, which were also organized and implemented.
