The primary objective of implementing the Erasmus project was to foster international cooperation and exchange among students and faculty, thereby enhancing the quality of education and research through cross-cultural collaboration. This is in line with the University strategy for internationalization. The project provided participants with invaluable international experiences, contribute to their personal and professional development, and promoted a greater understanding of different cultures and educational systems, already put in place at UNITUS. Recognizing the need for a globally connected education system, our institution sought to integrate this program to achieve the following specific goals: enhance academic excellence, promote cultural exchange, boost employability, strenghten institutional collaborations. By offering students and staff the opportunity to study, train, and teach abroad, the project aimed to improve the quality of education through exposure to diverse academic environments and methodologies. By implementing the Erasmus project, it was aimed to create a vibrant globally connected academic community that benefits not only the individual participants but also the institutions involved and the society.
