Objectives

Participation in Erasmus+ KA131 is part of the Institute's long-term strategy to develop and modernize its offerings while deepening its European dimension, as outlined in our Erasmus Policy Statement. This commitment is why, in line with previous years, the Institute has continued to enhance outgoing mobility activities and facilitate the admission of incoming students from partner institutions. The Institute aims to position itself as an attractive learning environment, where its unique and effective teaching methodology can effectively address the rapid changes and demands of society. Continuing from past initiatives, this project further expanded mobility activities aimed primarily at students and recent graduates. IED ensured that financial contributions fully covered all expenses for the entire duration of the mobility, eliminating any economic barriers that might discourage participation in both study and traineeship opportunities. Additionally, the Institute increased staff participation in training mobility to strengthen collaboration with specific partner institutions involved in academic activities and workshops. Colleagues participating in training mobility were primarily invited to international weeks, providing them the opportunity to engage with new partner institutions. As illustrated by the data below, we exceeded our expectations with 21 outgoing participants, compared to the 15 planned under the Organization Support (OS) contribution. Notably, some funds from the subsequent 2023 project were utilized to finance certain activities, allowing participants in the same academic year to benefit from both project funds. By broadening access to Erasmus program opportunities, the Institute has fostered a more collaborative and creative learning environment. Students are empowered to explore, design, and share their visions with the community. In this context, the KA131 action has enhanced the Institute's capacity for innovation, reinforced the transmission of democratic values and the identity of the European Union, facilitated the introduction of a new digital ecosystem, and promoted social inclusion and equity.
