Objectives

The main objectives of the present project were: 1- Diversify the type (study/training) of offered mobilities to all our degree courses ; 2- Engage the Coordinator and Faculty of the MEDTEC degree course (double degree in Medicine and Biomedical engineering, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano) in defining the mobility window for the erasmus study mobility towards Universidad Internacional de Catalunya, Barcellona, Spain; 3- Achieve the first mobilities for study for both Medical School and MEDTEC students; 4- Widen our network of international collaborations and increase the number of digital inter-institutional agreements (IIA), exploiting relationships that were built in the course of previous projects; 5- Foster inclusion by promoting participation of students with minor opportunities to Erasmus mobility; 6- Support to participants: during this project, we focused more on qualitative rather than quantitative objectives. This was a necessary step due to the increase in mobility participation in the previous project (KA131-2021), where the numbers of mobilities doubled, without a concomitant increase in the people (staff and faculty) responsible for the project management. Hence, we have re-evaluated all the processes related to student support before, during, and after the mobility to streamline them, and took specific actions to solve the more urgent issues. For instance, we modified the internal process for Erasmus grant payments,to avoid delays in the accreditation. In addition, we dedicated time and effort to the ongoing process of digitalization, which we expect will eventually help in better managing mobilities; 7- Digital transition: test our platform (Cineca/ESSE3) for managing online learning agreements (incoming and outgoing) and calls for application. Implement the use of virtual collaboration as part of mobility, by working with Partner HEI for the development of Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) in the next projects.
