With the start of the new project, a new figure replaced the former Erasmus Responsible. As a consequence, in order to ensure a better and complete management, in this transition phase with the necessary handovers, the SMS mobilities were slightly reduced for the academic year 2022/2023. However, a few months after the start of the new resource, a strategic plan was structured with new ways of implementing the project. In particular, in the past, the number of students interested in the traineeship was rather limited, with an average of only one applicant per year. Nevertheless, with the 2023 call, interest increased significantly, leading to an increase in applications and allowing the number of traineeship mobilities to be expanded to 4 students. In addition, mobility for study purposes also increased significantly in AY 2023/2024, with 17 outgoing students. For the first time, the Erasmus office also made it possible for Academy staff to undertake training and jobshadowing activities abroad. In particular, the staff responsible for international relations participated in several trips, including ‘International Weeks’, with the main objective of creating new ties and networking opportunities, as well as understanding the structure and functioning of these initiatives so that they could soon be replicated at the LABA Academy.
