Objectives

This project aimed to foster international collaboration, improve learning outcomes, and align with key Erasmus+ priorities, such as inclusion, diversity, green transition, and digitalization. By offering mobility opportunities, the university sought to deepen participants' understanding of different cultures, improve their academic and professional competencies, and strengthen international partnerships. The project aligns with the principles of Erasmus, promoting the educational, professional, and personal development of young people in the fields of education, training, youth, and sports. Its aim is to support sustainable growth, employment, innovation, social cohesion, and the strengthening of European identity through inter-university cooperation among Programme countries. Three specific objectives have been identified: • promoting the mobility of students and staff for study, internships, teaching, and training; • facilitating job placement opportunities for recent graduates; • promoting the recognition of qualifications within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) while implementing joint educational programs. In the spirit of inclusion and support for the participation of candidates with fewer opportunities, initial experiences with the implementation of Blended Intensive Programmes have been launched, with 13 initiatives hosted, contributing to making the University of Pavia more attractive within the European Higher Education Area. So, the primary objectives of the University of Pavia (UNIPV) in implementing the KA131 project were: • Promoting Student and Staff Mobility: The project aimed to facilitate the mobility of students and staff for study, internships, teaching, and training, both within Europe and internationally. This was seen as essential for enhancing participants’ educational and professional development and fostering international cooperation. • Supporting Sustainable Growth and Innovation: Through international partnerships and networks, the project sought to support sustainable growth, innovation, and employability by encouraging collaboration between higher education institutions (HEIs) and businesses. • Improving Recognition of Qualifications: Another key objective was to promote the recognition of qualifications within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) by implementing joint educational programs, enhancing student mobility, and improving the overall quality of education. • Inclusion and Diversity: The project placed a strong emphasis on inclusion by supporting participants with fewer opportunities through initiatives like Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs), which were designed to reach underrepresented groups and disciplines.
