The process of internationalisation and the intensification of collaborations with European and international partners is a dominant objective of the university. The internationalization strategy aims developing and strengthening its presence at a European and international level through the reinforcement of policies for incoming attractiveness (lecturers, students, and staff) and the strengthening and development of European and international networks of scientific collaboration with foreign bodies and universities, also for setting up collaborative study paths (double, joint-degrees, international doctorates or co-tutoring). Exchanges resulting from some lecturer mobility have, for instance, generated the university's participation in several projects within the KA2 and Jean Monnet Actions. The university also pursues the personal and professional enrichment of its staff and students. Therefore, European programs, and in particular the Erasmus+ Programme, are considered by our university as a tool for serving its internationalization strategy.
