There was a positive trend in the resumption of both incoming and outgoing student mobility. The University encouraged mobility by making its own and ministerial funds available to students to supplement European funds, with particular attention to students with fewer opportunities. As part of its policy of ecological sustainability, the University promoted the use of environmentally friendly means of transport by mobility students awarding the specific "GREEN" ecological travel grant made available by the European Commision. As part of the digitalisation of Erasmus procedures, the Erasmus Mobility portal was further implemented to the purpose of document exchange via EWP as well. A part of the funds was allocated for the implementation of mobility for traineeships to any “third countries not associated to the Programme” (regions 1-14), as well as to finance incoming staff mobility from Ukrainian universities (this activity was in line with the internal policies to support the Ukrainian population, link: https://www.unipi.it/index.php/welcome-and-support/itemlist/category/2078). This year we recorded a significant increase compared to the previous year in terms of staff mobility, both for teaching and training. Regarding the incoming guests, the University generally organizes a Staff Training Week every year to welcome guests.
