International mobility is a fundamental objective for the University of Bari Aldo Moro. Among the main objectives there is the possibility of promoting the mobility of individuals and groups for learning purposes as well as collaboration, quality, inclusion and equity, excellence, creativity and innovation, the learning about different cultures, using a different language, sharing habits and lifestyles, in a continuous process of reciprocity, not only with other students, but also with the social context and cultural heritage of the host university. Furthermore, the aim is to provide participants, immersed in different cultures and environments, with the opportunity to acquire a new awareness of their own cultural identity from an international perspective, while at the same time improving their knowledge of the foreign language. The fundamental objective is the promotion of the free movement of people (students, teachers, staff) and ideas to develop the dissemination of knowledge. The mobility of outgoing students has suffered a setback due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, which since March 2020 has prevented much physical mobility and has also discouraged the virtual mobility experience.
