Università Cattolica has adopted an internationalisation strategy in line with the 2021-2027 ECHE guidelines, focusing on enhancing safety and quality in mobility and cooperation projects. On one hand, digital processes have been implemented to make the student experience more comprehensive. On the other hand, existing partnerships have been strengthened, and new ones created, with particular attention to employability and the development of intercultural skills. Key initiatives include Double Degree projects, traineeships through ERASMUS+ KA131 and KA171, as well as virtual programs developed with various partners, such as BIPs. The full recognition of international experiences is an absolute priority, as established in some guidelines presented by the University within the framework of work related to quality assurance and periodic self-evaluation of the various degree programs, aimed at better guiding and supporting the involvement of less active Faculties. Thus, the path continues toward achieving institutional goals for the next five years, which include a +30% increase in student mobility, a +20% increase in staff mobility, a +50% increase in cooperation projects, and a +15% increase in the total number of agreements.
