Objectives

Continuing the new cycle 2021-27, the project's implementation aimed to enhance and promote more and more participants' access to the programme, through strengthening international relations and consolidating the process digitisation. The intention was to bolster international cooperation as a primary vehicle toward excellence, with the establishment of new Inter-Institutional Agreements and several new Cooperation agreements, both with public and private partners, to allow more flexibility in staff and traineeship mobilities by also using the potential of short mobility in innovative ways. In addition, in the Blended Intensive Programme “Metamorphosis & Migrations: Europe and Latin America, new directions for artistic research from Music in Move”, the new Erasmus+ short mobility collective formula has been used to realise a fruitful international exchange of experiences, in order to identify new directions for artistic research around the concept of music movement. Thanks to four prestigious trainers the project successfully achieved the goal of developing/strengthening the learners skills in the field of artistic research, demonstrating how movement, as migration of musical repertoires into other contexts, always brings enrichment in the encounter between different elements and in this way also helps to strengthening the participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement. To offer a wider range of opportunities both for traineeship and for training, we recently joined the Working With Music 2.0 Consortium, with an active role in the proposal of new activities and partnerships. On behalf of the SuedNord Consortium - which once again facilitated training mobility aimed at the development of linguistic skills - we also coordinated the BIP "Bach for Peace", involving seven European partners from Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Spain (including a Russian and a Ukrainian student), with in presence activities in Rome, both at MUSA Museo degli strumenti musicali (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia) and at ISA Istituto Superiore Antincendi. The project, with prestigious trainers both for the theoretical (Carlo Fiore, Renato Meucci, Federica Riva) and the practical sessions (Andrea Fossà, Valerio Losito), has provided significant educational and artistic relevance, with an outstanding final performance offered to a wide public. The Conservatory took care of all the formative, artistic and logistical details of the project, while the the Consortium took care of all the financial aspects and in addition to the confirmations of stay. In parallel with the strengthening of international relations through the Blended Intensive Programmes organised with so many European partners, the internationalization strategy is being greatly strengthened and extended through the ongoing International Credit Mobility project with four Sub-Saharan Africa and Southern Mediterranean partners and through the first teaching mobilities financed with the non-EU percentage of the same project KA131, as well as with the three ambitious international cooperation projects Musense, Inclumusic and Vietmus.
