The results of this action are very promising as far as the African Region is concerned, this in line with the School's commitment in this area, thanks to the Africa Connect project, of which Erasmus mobility becomes a complementary part, but an indispensable building block, to enrich with exchanges in the presence of knowledge and ideas, the already started joint cooperation and research projects. The Erasmus + ICM collaboration with Africa, which began in 2016, has seen continuity ensured thanks to the allocation of funds in all calls up to 2020 in favour of African countries (Ethiopia, Ghana, Sudan, Niger) and in the new call 2023 Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Benin have been added and in 2024 Ethiopia has been financed again, to which Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Rwanda and Uganda have been added. The main objective was to harness the complementary needs and expertise of the partner institutions to strengthen existing collaborations aimed at improving postgraduate education in the partner institutions, through the co-tenure of master's and doctoral students, as well as the exchange of best practices and discussion of plans for joint research projects and curriculum updates.
