The partnership with the Western Balkan universities involved aims to broaden the scope of our institution's internationalisation and fulfil the mission of: strengthening the appeal of higher education in Europe; promoting the use of tools for transparency and recognition of qualifications, creating and developing blended and distance learning courses focused on e-learning methodologies and techniques, improving the quality of teaching and meeting the training needs and requirements of professionals specialising in sports sciences, with particular attention to neighbouring partner countries that are candidates for EU membership; promote the mobility of incoming and outgoing staff and students and so-called “internationalisation at home”; extend the impact of the Erasmus+ Sport projects in which it participates and promote good practices and experiences at institutions with a specific focus and strong commitment to the promotion of sport and physical activity; encourage the development of international courses; increase international research in joint projects in the various characteristic areas (biomedical, pedagogical and sports sciences).
