The aim of the project is to promote cooperation and collaboration among universities located on both sides of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Specifically, the project seeks to increase the number of mobility opportunities for students and academic-administrative staff — both incoming and outgoing — in order to strengthen academic ties among the universities that are part of the Erasmus+ Consortium "Uniadrion Italy". The project's objectives align with the strategic goals of UniAdrion, the association of universities from the Adriatic-Ionian region from which the initiative originates. The Consortium serves as an effective tool for enhancing academic cooperation at the regional level, offering academic and scientific support to policies implemented in the area, and boosting the appeal of mobility experiences in Western Balkan universities for Italian students. At the same time, it aims to provide students from the Western Balkans with a diverse and comprehensive academic offering, to foster a sense of regional identity, to promote peace and stability, to support the process of European integration, and to encourage the joint development of the region.
