Related to the HORIZONTAL PRIORITY Inclusion and diversity, the GENERAL OBJECTIVE of the project is: “Contribute to eradicate the gender-based discrimination and violence from the point of view of the women who have undergone such phenomena, through inclusive educational processes” Related to the ADU PRIORITY “Creating and promoting learning opportunities among all citizens and generations”, “Creating and promoting learning opportunities/Improving the competences of educators”, the SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of the project are: A) Co-design (women and educators) an intercultural educational methodology that can be extended to several conditions of social vulnerability B) Identify the transnational network of the partnership for the future developments.
Gender inequality and several forms of violence against women are increasing all over the world; the objectives of the EU 20-27 Strategy for gender equality - which emphasizes, among its priorities, the need to eradicate gender-based violence and discrimination - are far from being achieved. For this reason it is necessary contribute to transform the culture that produces gender--based discriminations and violence, promoting and spreading pervasive educational processes by adopting the point of view of the women. Indeed, it is necessary to develop specific key competences of women, as well as those of all educators.
