Objectives

With this project we wanted to increase the number of adults who use personal computers correctly; give them the right tools to search on the internet, surf in complete safety, use tools to write on a PC. With the project we wanted to increase the number of people who understand, beyond their mother tongue, also a second European language to be independent not only with the PC (with which they communicate mainly in English), but also when traveling and traveling. With the project we wanted to help people communicate also through video calling programs.

Background

We asked the application for the project with all the partners involved because we had the same problem: our members are all adults who are over 65 and felt excluded from the digital world. These people have physical problems (for example, they cannot move the mouse well due to hand tremors), some cannot even turn on the PC and others cannot understand what the computer is communicating to them. During Covid, many felt excluded from using video calling programs to talk to their loved ones or to follow some online lessons.
