The main goal was the development of environmental education and the production of materials to involve students through learning by doing. By implementing this project we wanted to develop responsible behaviors towards the environment and feed future generations with a conscious attitude. The aim was to raise individuals who reflect about the importance of environmental protection and increase the commitment to responsible behavior. We would like to raise awareness about environmental problems at the local level, to raise the awareness about recycling and understand how companies could be part of a positive impact on the environment.
We thought that it's important to increase environmental awareness in the future generations in particular due to the relation between the topic of the project and the course of study offered by our school. Environmental education is not always mentioned enough in school courses so it’s interesting and stimulating to explore how other schools deal with environmental topics. The added value of this project is related to the possibilities to cooperate with people of other countries in order to understand how they deal with environmental problems and their experiences about how to promote environmental consciousness.
