The main objective of the S4S – The School for the Schools project was to enhance the pedagogical leadership competences of secondary school teachers, enabling them to manage complex educational settings, foster inclusion, integrate digital tools, and lead innovation processes within their schools. The project also aimed to: develop a multilingual blended training course, based on scenario-based learning and accessible across Europe; design the LET – Leadership Education for Teachers platform, user-friendly and available in eight languages; collect, validate and disseminate good practices in inclusive leadership, shared by teachers during the project; reinforce cooperation between schools, universities, and training centres in seven countries; promote a European educational community based on collaboration, mutual learning, and the value of linguistic and cultural diversity.
The S4S – The School for the Schools project was developed in response to the growing need to strengthen educational leadership in European schools, especially following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, digital transformation, and increasing classroom diversity. Teachers and school staff were facing difficulties in managing complex settings, promoting inclusion, and using digital tools effectively. The project aimed to provide teachers with leadership competences to become agents of change, foster peer collaboration, and support innovation in teaching practices. It also addressed the need for flexible, multilingual training resources adaptable across different European educational systems.
