Our project was born after a long discussion on the consequences of the pandemic on young people. This situation apparently only lasted a few months but has dragged on for almost 2 years now and has profoundly affected the social life of each of us; we had to learn a new sociability, deal with practical needs (individual safety devices, new ways of behaving), IT (DAD, Webinar, green pass, etc.) and regulations that have chased each other over time, fluctuating over the seasons. Together with these new realities, the moods, expectations and dreams of the youngest have also fluctuated. Confronting them with them, a difficult picture emerged: some had to take their final exams or the first years of university in a completely new and unexplored context, state exams that were all unknown, willingness to leave to work or study away from home made impossible or very difficult or the difficulty of continuing with one's passion has emerged: swimming pools and closed gyms, music schools, singing, intermittent theater. Everyone complained about the difficulty of socializing again, the lack of friends and, we understood, the lack of carefree typical of those who have everything to discover. New technologies and Social Networks have helped us to maintain some ties but they cannot (fortunately, we add) replace the experience, the pleasure of being with others. Even adults have not made a good impression: schools have often resulted in difficulties, families have had to struggle with the difficulties of their children, the most fragile elderly and with work, communication at the level of the mass media has often been chaotic, not very decision-making and based only on mutual confrontation rather than collaboration; the very demonization of science has influenced the younger ones who, often, have revealed to us that they no longer have faith in institutions that previously saw granite or at least with confidence; unfortunately they are more easily fascinated by fake news or mystery, also because they are people who are forming their own judgments and how they will relate to the outside world and it is easy for them to make mistakes or believe in far-fetched stories . Another common theme that we encountered was that of the difficulty of understanding why there were a forest of different rules from nation to nation, because everyone went on his own account even if there is a European Union; it was almost a way of asking oneself: what is there to make a common home where we can discuss the well-being of all if we then go in no particular order when faced with a world problem? because you can travel them and not here? why do you mask them outdoors and not here? and so on, everyone noticed how complicated it was to have common rules. This picture was encountered, with different nuances but substantially without departing from the general theme, by each of the associations that are part of the project. At this point we asked ourselves how to tackle this new project, which theme to use? we agreed on the fact that children need lightness, to play, to rediscover sociality and to remove doubts and anxieties about the future; we said to ourselves that we need a catharsis, a way to return to think positively about the future. We have therefore decided to focus this project on these directives: - game (traditional games or standard games) - rediscovery of sociability and equal comparison - trust in the future and in institutions Our fear is that of having generations grown up in anxiety and mistrust, unable to dream or resigned at a young age; that is why we would like to set up our project according to canons of lightness and lightheartedness, transmitting to the participants a feeling of returning to normality. Obviously we do not want to send them a wrong message, on the contrary they will be engaged in a confrontation with the customs and traditions of other European countries, will have to compare each other's experiences during the Pandemic, collaborate, overcome shyness and get out of the comfort zone in which they are locked up. . We aim to do all this simply with a new, positive and proactive approach.
