The idea of creating a European project was born within the Compagnia Teatrale Quintetto d'A with the aim of spreading the benefits of the application of the Non-Method (using theatre as a school of life and bringing together young people from different backgrounds) beyond the borders of the community of Fondi for which it was originally conceived. The organisation of a training course - NoMe - represents for the Company an opportunity and at the same time a challenge to achieve important objectives such as: 1) to develop new skills in youth workers in order to be able to adopt the Non-Method in their activities in their own countries; 2) to generate a strong impact on the work of both youth workers and those involved; 3) to experiment a new method of non-formal education; 4) to contribute with a new experience to the evolution of trainers and the organisations they are part of 4) to increase the international dimension of youth activities; 5) to promote non-formal learning by adopting European tools for the recognition of competences; 6) to build a community of youth workers who, by sharing the Non-Method, can support new projects and activities for young people, in EU programmes and beyond.
