We decided to design and implement this project because as social workers, we constantly facing situations of discomfort and various difficulties. People who are taking part in the activities offered by our organizations are experiencing challenging and tough moments, that why we try to make less burdensome through the inclusion and socialization which the arts allow us. However, the youth workers are subjected to a continuous mental and physical effort to ensure the possibility of carrying out the activities themselves. In addition to the difficulties related to the participants in our organization's activities, we very often deal with institutions, bureaucracy and other bodies present in the territory, with which it is not always easy to interface. We realized that all this causes stress and can lead to moments of burn-out. The project was born with the aim of preventing and soothing such moments through a conscious use of the arts as mediators to restore the psycho-physical balance of social workers. Give tools to the human workers to support their self-awareness and emotional and psychological state; present to them different techniques to rebalance and give the tools to create their own activities through functional juggling, mindful photography, storytelling and graphic arts; all these are objectives of the implementation of the activities we have proposed. These proposals was born from our personal and professional experience of the use of the arts as tools of inclusion, socialization, sharing of emotions and creation of comparison. Through these tools, human workers can easily get in contact with themselves and their emotions, learn to recognize and deal with them, share experiences and feelings with others and intervene on their mental and physical health preventing excessive stress and burn out. In this way everyone feels more responsible for himself and his life and makes decisions aimed at their well-being in respect of the other.
