Objectives

The project, aimed to foster the self-actualization of young people in Europe through the development of innovative skills. Our multifocal approach supported their personal and professional development in specific ways: Skills Development: We organized workshops and courses that equipped young people with the skills needed to navigate contemporary challenges, including programming, digital marketing, and soft skills such as time and relationship management. Mentorship and Ongoing Support: Each youth was paired with experienced mentors, ensuring ongoing support that significantly improved their understanding and expertise in their fields of interest. Networking and Job Opportunities: We promoted meetings with professionals and companies, providing valuable networking opportunities that opened doors to future professional careers. Personal Development: Through targeted activities, we incentivized young people to define their own goals and increase self-awareness, enriching their personal growth path. Results included a marked improvement in participants' professional skills, advancement in their emotional and social well-being, and increased job opportunities

Background

The decision to apply for the project stemmed from an awareness of the specific challenges of our socioeconomic and cultural context. We recognized a growing need to support individuals of various ages in finding a career direction that not only met their passions and skills, but was also sustainable over the long term in a rapidly changing job market. We identified three main needs: 1. Career Orientation: Many people find themselves having to reorient their careers due to changes in the labor market, but they do not have access to adequate resources to make informed choices. 2. Support for Intrapreneurship: We observed a strong desire in the community to start entrepreneurial ventures, especially in the technology and social fields, but there was a lack of practical guidance on how to turn an idea into a real venture. 3. Future Skills Development: With digitization and automation transforming entire sectors, there was an urgent need for training to develop skills that will be in demand in the coming years. The project was therefore designed to address these needs through targeted training programs, entrepreneurship support and career services
