Objectives

One of the aims is that the participants of the refresher courses in Poland will gain as much practical experience as possible in the field of non-formal adult education, apply it to the Centre's activities, and introduce innovations. We also wanted the participants to gain knowledge and understanding, develop skills and attitudes in the following areas of digital literacy competences during the mobility visit: information management, communication, digital content creation, security, digital learning, digital literacy problem solving. To become familiar with modern, innovative forms and methods of training and to apply them in their professional practice in order to respond to the needs of educators and school communities in the development of professional development programmes.

Background

The development of digital technologies requires continuous professional development of adult learning providers and a collegiate ability to share valuable experiences and practices in priority areas of adult learning. The Centre's aim in this project was to adopt the valuable experience of the Polish Adult Learning Centre in order to respond to the need of adults for lifelong learning, to improve their digital and professional competences, as well as to explore innovative and attractive forms of adult learning, methods for the development of digital and other competences of educators and school communities. This project is of particular importance and relevance for the Centre, as the knowledge, skills and experience acquired in the partner educational institution are applied by the participants of the mobility activities in the development of professional development programmes for the improvement of digital and professional competences of teachers and school communities.
