Considering the needs of the gymnasium community, we set two main goals: 1) To develop teachers' core and professional competencies, which enable them to successfully develop entrepreneurial, sustainability and self-knowledge skills of students with different needs and abilities; 2) To help students acquire knowledge, skills and values about entrepreneurship, sustainability and self-awareness.
Druskininkai “Rytas” Gymnasium is a state secondary school providing quality educational services following the second part of the program for the basic education and the secondary education program (since 2001). Much attention is paid to students’ personal development and self-expression and teachers' professional development. To organise a higher standard educational process, the gymnasium community distinguishes two most important needs: 1) to provide teachers with the opportunity to acquire the competencies required to successfully develop students' entrepreneurship, sustainable world-building and self-knowledge skills; 2) to create appropriate conditions for each student to acquire knowledge, skills and values in the fields of entrepreneurship, sustainability and self-knowledge.
