Objectives

While implementing the project, we aimed to learn new, effective teaching methods, which will help improve students' progress, learning motivation, and organize education in a meaningful and comprehensible way for every student. The integration of creative, non-traditional solutions into the educational process will improve the emotional background of students and teachers, mutual relations, and the involvement of pedagogues in work will increase. Improved digital competences of teachers will strengthen teachers confidence in conducting lessons remotely or hybridly will make lessons more attractive to the modern learner.

Background

We submitted the project application for teachers to gain new knowledge and improve their competences, which would allow them to deal successfully with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic in the educational process, i.e. increase students' progress and motivation to learn; to increase the indicators of teachers' involvement in work and self-confidence in organizing distance and hybrid lessons. In order to organize education that meets the expectations and interests of the modern student, our pro-gymnasium needed new knowledge related to technological abilities, personal, creativity and subject competencies. Half of pro-gymnasium teachers lacked skills in digitizing lessons, developing students' critical thinking and creativity.
